Eikichi Onizuka, a reformed gang leader, takes a teaching job with a class notorious for bullying teachers and each other. Their disruptive behavior stems from deep personal issues rather than mere mischief. Tasked by the chairwoman, Onizuka works to guide the troubled youths toward healthier adulthood and to restore confidence in the beleaguered faculty.
