Set in the 1990s as Yugoslavia disintegrates into brutal wars, the film follows Milan, a perpetual student from a traditional Serbian family, and Kenan, a Muslim cellist, a gay couple living in Sarajevo. Their personal and public lives are upended by the Bosnian conflict, exposing devastating inter‑ethnic hatred.
