As Russell navigates the complexities of his sixteenth year, he finds himself caught between fleeting romances with several girls and a burgeoning connection with football star Kevin. Their relationship takes a turn when Min, during a school trip, unexpectedly discovers a secret kiss between the two. In response, she reaches out to Russell and offers him a place in an LGBT support group, disguised as a Geography Club within the confines of the school. This intimate group, which includes Min, Therese, and Ike, is not without its own secrets, as each member struggles to embrace their authentic identities.

As Russell immerses himself deeper in the club’s solidarity, he receives an invitation to an uncomfortable dinner at Kevin’s family residence following a victorious football match. The evening is steeped in tension, with Kevin’s father interrogating both boys while Russell grapples with his simmering emotions. Meanwhile, Russell’s best friend Gunnar presses Kevin to accompany him on a trip with girls, further widening the emotional rift between him and Russell.
