Following a severe heart attack, retired General José Mendieta is haunted by the memories of his involvement in Operation Condor. He begins to reveal a disturbing past, detailing the torture, imprisonment, and executions he authorized during the 1970s in Latin America. Through a letter to his son, he recounts the disappearances of journalist Marco, activist Antonio, revolutionary Andrea, and their families, whose lives were irrevocably broken by his actions and the oppressive regime he upheld.
