This documentary explores stories of abuse, betrayal, and resistance within the Evangelical church. It connects a culture of submission and sexual abuse to the Christian nationalist movement's efforts to limit democratic rights for American women, particularly concerning health and happiness. Inspired by Kristin Kobes Du Mez's work on "Jesus and John Wayne," the film encourages women of faith to use their voices and votes to protect the rights of future generations.
