The following morning he is taken to the clinic and, despite a few uneasy dreams, the procedure goes smoothly and leaves his everyday life unchanged. In the meantime, his long‑standing crush on Honey finally comes to light. After a chaotic showdown at a dog show—where Bull, in a bizarre twist, ends up mating with the rival Borzoi—he confesses his feelings to Honey. She reciprocates, explaining that she no longer wants to be just another polished show dog and is willing to be with him regardless of his status as a mutt or his neutered state.

Their confession is rewarded when Honey later gives birth to a litter of mixed‑breed puppies, confirming that their bond can thrive beyond the constraints of breeding expectations. The arrogant Borzoi, Sterling, who had hoped to secure a lucrative breeding career, is promptly neutered by his owners, delivering poetic justice for his hubris.

The film closes with a final, off‑color gag of Honey out for a night of revelry, watching a bear perform at a canine pleasure house, underscoring the movie’s unapologetically irreverent tone.
