Fantasy Mission Force

The film opens with a sudden Japanese assault on an Allied camp believed to be in Canada, taking four generals hostage, including one who calls himself Abraham Lincoln. The chaos signals a high-stakes rescue mission. Lieutenant Don Wen is ordered to assemble a team for the operation.

Don Wen rounds up a misfit crew, luring them with the promise of a huge reward. The lineup includes two kilt-wearing soldiers, a hobo named Old Sun, an alleged escape artist called Greased Lightning, con artist Billy, and Lily, a femme fatale in knee-high red boots. The plan is framed as a shot at glory, with a nod to pop culture rejects who were supposedly considered for the job.

On the way to the Japanese base, two small-time crooks, Sammy and Emily, join the mission hoping to cash in on a hidden money cache. They expect the perilous assignment to net them a fortune. The group moves forward with mixed motives and growing tensions.

An ambush by spear-wielding tribesmen appears to wipe out Don Wen, leaving the team to press on without their leader. The group continues through the perilous terrain, uncertain of their next move. The event marks a turning point in the mission's cohesion.

The party is taken by a tribe of cannibal Amazon warriors led by a flamboyant man in a tuxedo. After a fierce confrontation, the team defeats the tribe and frees themselves to continue toward the base. The encounter adds another strange obstacle to the rescue.

Out of nowhere, sword- and axe-brandishing Japanese Nazis ride in 1970s-style muscle cars and attack the rescued team. The clash on the base’s outskirts is chaotic and brutal, throwing the team into a desperate fight. The assault showcases the film's campy, over-the-top tone.

With only Sammy and Emily remaining, Don Wen arrives, executes Old Sun, and explains that he engineered the whole scheme to have the rescue team and the Japanese soldiers kill each other.
