Cüneyt, the son of a millionaire businessman, is about to get engaged. To test whether his fiancée and friends love him for his wealth, he pretends to have gone bankrupt. The fiancée breaks off the engagement and his friends skip the ceremony, prompting Cüneyt to withdraw from his privileged circle. He moves to Kumkapı with the help of a worker he employs, lives among the working class, falls in love with a poor woman, and decides to marry her.
