Completing the trilogy, the story follows a young woman who flees her Death Valley home to seek fortune. Her drunken father, still in a Santa suit from a local pageant, chases her and meets the bleak “new dark ages” of 1984. The film mixes street interviews by Willie Boy Walker, punk shows by Flipper and The Mutants, odd TV bits on past‑life hypnosis and nuclear devastation, and a crazed ex‑con, weaving them into the characters’ sagas.
