A couple drifts on a solitary log in the middle of the ocean. Jeremy, an insecure young man with a mother complex, aggravates their plight with his absent‑minded, awkward behavior. Aurora, a brisk, bossy woman, is impatient to reach shore and weary of carrying Jeremy. After a shark attack severely injures Aurora’s leg, their already perilous crossing becomes a bloody struggle, forcing them to confront not only the ocean but also the emotional distance between them.
