Death, known as the Boandlkramer in Bavarian dialect, is tasked with collecting young Maxl, but unexpectedly falls for the boy’s mother. Overwhelmed by these new feelings, he seeks counsel from the devil. The devil suggests a unique opportunity: the Boandlkramer can experience mortal life and compete for love. Guided by the recently deceased womanizer, Max Gumberger, the Boandlkramer navigates earthly existence in a humorous search for eternal love.
