Oichi the Blind aids a woman fleeing a powerful official so she can be with her lover. The official places a fifty‑gold bounty on Oichi, attracting a trio of hunters—a master swordsman, a hulking judo expert, and a chain‑wielding killer. Pursued, Oichi heads for the fishing village of Itso, where she finally faces the swordsman Sankuro.
