Set in April 1941, German forces occupy Yugoslavia and its capital Belgrade as Hitler redraws borders. The city swarms with chaos, famine, black markets and a split populace of collaborators, Chetniks, communists and other traitors. Amid this turmoil Zivota Grujic, aka Comrade Black and heir to the notorious Black Gruya, relies on wit and cunning, even when forced to bargain with powerful European leaders.
