When a flesh‑thirsty shapeshifting demon, called a youma, attacks Raki’s village, a lone silver‑eyed woman arrives with only a sword. She is a Claymore—half‑human, half‑youma—created to slay these monsters. After the youma kill Raki’s family, the Claymore spares his life, but he is exiled. Seeking purpose, Raki follows her, Clare, as they travel from town to town destroying youma. Along the way he learns about Clare’s secretive organization and the vengeance she pursues against the youma that shaped her destiny.
