Emerging from the French underground of 1968, this rare Etienne O’Leary film works as a loose diary. Alongside his better‑known friend Pierre Clementi, it records the drug‑fueled hedonism of the era’s dandies. O’Leary uses rapid, sometimes subliminal cuts, dense superimposed layers and a spontaneous notebook‑like shooting style. Though initially personal snapshots of friends, lovers and places, the editing reshapes the material into ambiguously fictional, occasionally dark sexual fantasies.
