Hakki Gopala is cast into a web of accusations in 1986 Bangalore, blamed for the brutal killings of his gangster mentor Jayaraj’s rival Sathyaraj and a police sub-inspector. The truth, however, points to Jayaraj himself as the one who carried out those murders, leaving Hakki to bear the fallout of suspicion and danger.
In 1995 Mysore, Krishna Rao becomes the scapegoat for the death of his pregnant friend Maria, a crime that was actually the work of his deranged neighbor. The misdirected blame haunts him, painting a picture of guilt he did not commit and pulling him deeper into a case that stretches beyond his control.
A few years later, in 2000 Mangalore, Surya Shetty finds himself entangled in a false murder accusation that rides on the tides of political tension. The frame-up not only jeopardizes his life but also exposes the murky intersections of crime, power, and public opinion that plague his world.
Then, in 2007 Bijapur, Mohammed Anwar is blamed for a bomb blast that was really the work of his brother-in-law, a man involved with terrorism. The accusation places Anwar in a perilous spotlight, forcing him to confront powerful forces that would rather see him silenced than proven innocent.
Despite their separate ordeals, the four men are bound by a singular bond through their only true friend, Manjunatha, known as Manja, a connection that keeps them tethered as they wander through a landscape of accusation, fear, and latent camaraderie.
Fast forward to 2017, and the four reunite within the walls of the Central Jail in Bellary. There, they encounter Vishwanath, a schoolteacher who becomes a beacon of hope and a catalyst for reform. As they learn more about his plight, they discover that Vishwanath was framed for the murder of his daughter Ramya. Delving deeper, they uncover that Ramya loved Anand, the son of MLA Krishnamurthy, a fact that enraged the powerful politician and precipitated Ramya’s death with Vishwanath cast as the fall guy. United by this revelation, the four vow to help Vishwanath clear his name and pursue a just path forward.
The path to truth soon twists through a dangerous maze. After a string of clever maneuvers, they escape from jail with help from Manja, only to race into a tense confrontation in a jungle and a dramatic shootout. Vishwanath is wounded and rushed to a hospital, and the group, now separated by circumstance, makes a calculated move to press their cause. They confront the political machinery by storming the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi, though their action remains nonlethal in intent.
The court of consequences tightens when Krishnamurthy challenges the evolving narrative. In a tense moment, Anwar fires a warning shot, and Krishnamurthy’s revelations begin to unravel the cloud of doubt, steering the truth toward vindication for Vishwanath. Yet a final, cruel twist arrives when a toy bomb—placed unknowingly by Krishna—sparks a deadly misperception among the commandos. The four friends are targeted and shot in the ensuing chaos, leaving Pushpa, Pushpa, Bhoomika, Bhoomika, Gowri, and Vishwanath to endure the shock and sorrow of the moment.
In a tale woven with loyalties tested, political intrigue, and a quest for justice, the ensemble of skilled, flawed individuals strides through a world where truth is elusive, and redemption is earned through courage, sacrifice, and unwavering solidarity.
