William Rockman, once a champion of the lethal sport Terminal Combat, retired after unintentionally killing a trainee. Five years later the sport is outlawed and forced underground, where matches are lethal. When his younger brother is slain by Rockman's old foe, the King, Rockman re‑enters the arena seeking vengeance, unaware that the King and his wife Daria are being held captive by promoter Max Brito.
