For nearly thirty years, sculptor Filippo Dobrilla has been creating a colossal nude male figure within a cave located 650 meters deep in the Apuan Alps. The remote and difficult-to-reach location has safeguarded his private project, born from a youthful passion for a fellow climber. This intimate space allowed Filippo to explore his feelings, and even after the relationship ended, he has continued to return to the cave, dedicating himself to what he considers the most significant sculpture of his life – a masterpiece destined to remain unseen.
