In a dim, cavernous warehouse that doubles as a home and studio, a world of monumental stone and shadow thrives under a single, unseeing eye. The space is saturated with twisted, half‑finished monuments to the female form, each slab and curve whispering of a creator’s relentless pursuit of an impossible ideal. Light is scarce, and the air hums with the echo of chisels and the soft gasp of breath, making the environment feel both intimate and oppressive—a sanctuary where sight is surrendered and every surface becomes a map for the fingers.

Aki Shima, an aspiring model fresh to the city’s artistic circles, finds herself thrust into this strange realm when she is taken by Michio Sofu, a blind sculptor whose devotion to his craft borders on the fanatic. He moves through the darkness with a confidence that unsettles, guiding her by touch and sound into poses that seem to demand more than physical compliance.
