Set in a fictional Germany, the series follows an outbreak of bio‑mechanical beings called Demoniacs that rise from corpses and attack people mindlessly. As the crisis unfolds, a number of humans become Demoniacs, wielding their powers for either good or evil. Ultimately, one individual rises above all others to become the legendary Blassreiter.
