On the night the power failed during New York City’s famous 1977 blackout, four sadistic criminals escape custody while being transferred. They storm a posh Manhattan apartment complex, seize control, and begin looting and terrorizing the frightened residents, turning the city’s darkness into a nightmare of violence.
