Black Killer

James Webb comes into town carrying a casket full of books, presenting himself as a lawyer. He begins investigating the corrupt local judge who collaborates with the O'Hara brothers. His arrival sets the stage for uncovering the illegal land deeds and criminal activities in the town.

Webb learns that the judge keeps the land deeds, which are unregistered and will forfeit to him if the O'Hara brothers are killed. This strategy helps the gang control the town and eliminate landowners unfairly. Webb recognizes the judge's corrupt scheme and plans to intervene.

The O'Hara brothers are suspected of killing farmers after making them sign over land deeds. They also kill a government inspector who investigates their crimes. They raid the town and murder the sheriff when cash demands are not met, affirming their violent control.

Burt Collins arrives in town seeking his brother Peter, who lives with his Native American wife. Burt bravely kills two men cheating at gambling and considers leaving town, but Webb visits him to suggest a plan of action against the gang.

The next day, Burt is challenged by three O'Hara men and responds by killing them in self-defense. Webb helps him secure the position of sheriff, convincing the judge that Burt should serve instead of standing trial for his actions.

The O'Hara gang surrounds the brothers' house and captures them. Burt is beaten unconscious, and Peter is killed while trying to protect their sister Sarah from an attempted rape. The gang then sets fire to the house, escalating their reign of terror.

Sarah and Burt seek revenge, gathering intelligence from Consuela at the saloon. They shoot and kill an O'Hara gang member during a celebration, and later, Burt and Sarah infiltrate the gang's hideout in a mine, killing guards and freeing Consuela, though she is tragically killed in the crossfire.

Burt and Sarah attack the O'Hara ranch, killing guards using bows, arrows, and a snare. Burt confronts Pedro O'Hara in a dark room and kills him when the door opens. Outside, Sarah shoots arrows to eliminate remaining gang members, blinding Miguel O'Hara with an explosive arrow.

Webb visits the corrupt judge and exposes his scheme, but the judge offers Webb a share of the illicit gains. When Webb refuses, the judge tries to disarm him, leading Webb to shoot and kill the judge. Webb then steals papers and money from the safe, and ties up Sarah who arrives later.

Burt enters town with the bodies of the O'Hara brothers and confronts Ramon O'Hara, shooting him and other henchmen. A street fight ensues involving a hayfork and firearms. Webb helps by shooting down two henchmen, and Ramon is ultimately shot with a pistol tossed by Webb.

The townspeople arrive to witness the aftermath of the battle. Webb hands Burt the land deeds taken from the O'Hara gang. Sarah arrives with a gun, having freed herself earlier. Burt calms her but decides to arrest Webb for the judge’s murder before finally setting him free.

Burt and Webb exchange farewells as Burt prepares to leave town. Webb questions when Burt will return, and Burt responds vaguely before the two part ways. Burt’s decision marks the end of their alliance and the resolution of the conflict.
