Patsy works at Rumplemeyer’s donut shop in Brooklyn. When Mr. Rumplemeyer’s trousers get caught in the machine as he leaves to pick up his niece, he gives her cab fare and sends her away. She forgets her purse and can’t pay the driver at immigration, so he waits. She finds Lyda, hides in trunk as a cabbie, immigration officer and traffic cop swarm.
