After being sent to the corner for misbehaving at school, Alice drifts off to sleep and enters a vivid dream where playful dogs and donkeys dance. The whimsical scene is suddenly disrupted when three animated schoolbooks begin to walk through the dream, abruptly ending her enjoyment. Their relentless march brings the schoolwork into even the most imaginative corners of her mind.
