Following Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential win, ACORN reached its peak before a hidden-camera video ignited a national scandal. The controversy involved allegations of voter fraud and a staged encounter with a fake prostitute, ultimately leading to the group’s downfall and the rise of Breitbart.com.
