A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!

Thirteen years after the original series, Timmy Turner is now 23 but clings to childish habits to keep Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof in his life. His parents want him to move out so they can sell the family home and explore the world. The Fairy Godparent Academy’s stern chief instructor, Jorgen Von Strangle, notices his behavior and schemes to tempt him away from magic.

Timmy reunites with Tootie, a childhood acquaintance who has grown into a confident activist with a long-held crush on him. He secretly uses wishes to support her protest against the felling of a historic tree. Cosmo and Wanda warn him that reliance on magic could prevent real maturity, while Timmy wrestles with his feelings and obligations.

Timmy is torn between his love for Tootie and his desire to keep his fairies, leading to a hesitation to kiss her. The delay angers Tootie, and she leaves, telling him to grow up and take responsibility for his life.

Denzel Crocker teams with oil tycoon Hugh J. Magnate to kidnap Timmy's fairies and use their magic for themselves. Magnate deceives and kidnaps Tootie, while Crocker captures Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof and imprisons them in a device that grants wishes to anyone who commands it.

Magnate betrays Crocker, and his plan escalates into a perilous trap in a bottomless ballpit. He tortures the fairies by tweaking the wish-granting device so that each wish delivers an electric shock.

Timmy tracks Magnate's headquarters, which resembles a children's entertainment center, determined to rescue his fairies and Tootie. He faces Magnate and a life-sized toy robot animated by fairy magic in a tense battle.

Timmy rescues the fairies from destruction and tells Tootie he loves her, kissing her. In the moment of the kiss, Timmy loses ownership of his fairies, and they disappear from containment.

Magnate laments losing his source of magic, and his secretary Janice incapacitates him, bringing an end to his scheme. The fairies are no longer under his control, clearing the way for new arrangements.

Jorgen Von Strangle returns to inform Timmy that, thanks to his courage, a new Fairy World law will allow him to keep his fairy godparents as long as he makes only unselfish wishes to help others.

Timmy, Tootie, and the fairies form a charity organization to grant wishes that mend the world's travesties. They depart in a magical van that turns around in midair and flies toward the camera, signaling a new era of goodwill.

Magnate is sent to a mental hospital after insisting that fairies exist. Meanwhile, Janice becomes CEO of his company, transforming it into an environmentally friendly enterprise.

Crocker falls out of the ball pit onto the Turners' front lawn, where Mrs. Turner is vacationing to celebrate Timmy moving out. Frustratedly, she walks away as the scene closes on Timmy’s new, more mature life.
