Feudal Japan, half‑demon twins Towa and Setsuna are split by a forest fire. Towa enters a tunnel to Japan, where Sota Higurashi, Kagome’s brother, raises her. Ten years later the tunnel reopens, reuniting sisters. Setsuna, now a demon‑slayer for Kohaku, has no memory of Towa, prompting a quest to restore the bond and face a threat spanning eras.
