Kay and Dave, teens, fall for each other at boarding school. Dave’s reckless water‑pistol bank robbery lands him in an eight‑year prison term. While he’s away, Kay is fostered, meets Mike, marries him and has two children. When Dave is released, he courts Kay, rekindling feelings and sparking Mike’s jealousy as she is torn between past love and her life.
