A bartender plans to evict an obnoxious drunk, but insists the man first leaves a decent tip. While waiting, he recounts the rivalry between two crime families: the Italian‑run Minettis operating a restaurant in East San Fernando Valley and the Irish‑run Mulroneys who run a pub in the West Valley. A feud erupts when a Minetti henchman short‑changes Big Paddy’s daughter, sparking a violent turf war that shows just how “very mean men” can be.
