As a comet looms over a bustling Western European capital, most people flee, but a stubborn bar stays open. Inside, two self‑absorbed lovers sip drinks and slowly realize the bartender is infatuated with a lost girl who sees herself as his latest plaything. The bartender repeatedly cues an eclectic jukebox of American, French‑Italian and other songs, heightening the uneasy atmosphere.
