Jake Cunningham, an uptight, work‑aholic FBI agent from a privileged family, is tasked with protecting Brandi O’Neill, a cocktail waitress who has exposed her billionaire boyfriend’s tax fraud. When Jake is summoned home for the holidays, he brings Brandi along and they pretend to be a couple. His family, largely displeased with his sudden “girlfriend,” makes the charade tense.
