A trio of terror adapts three Nathaniel Hawthorne tales. In “Dr. Heidegger’s Experiment,” a scientist gives his elderly friends a potion to regain youth, leading to disastrous consequences. “Rappaccini’s Daughter” follows a paranoid father who inoculates his daughter with poisonous plants so she never leaves his garden. “The House of the Seven Gables” chronicles the cursed Pyncheon family embroiled in a century‑old curse and a bitter inheritance dispute when a mysterious stranger arrives.
