Set in a dystopian Rome, a strict law dictates that immigrant families are limited to three children. When a fourth child is born, one must be sacrificed, prioritizing the lives of the female offspring. The film centers on Zoe, Iris, and Clio, three sisters facing this devastating reality as their family grapples with an impossible choice and the erosion of their values in a desperate attempt to survive. It's a tragic story exploring themes of life, death, and the lengths people will go to for a place in the world.
