Nedarma (Travelling) is a documentary co‑directed by Anastasia Lapsui and Markku Lehmuskallio that follows the everyday existence of the Nenets, Lapsui’s own people living in Siberia’s northern tundra and their relationship with the harsh environment. The film weaves Nenets cosmology into its structure, using mythic concepts to frame a contemplative narrative that moves from birth through life’s stages to death.
