On a luxurious Atlantic liner, gambler Monty Greer (Edmund Lowe) falls for Judy, the daughter of immigrant lens grinder Rudolph Kramer. While trying to retrieve stolen securities belonging to banker Henry Graham, Greer is drawn into a deadly gunfight in the engine room. Graham, cheating on his wife Kay with dancer Sigrid Carline, is murdered, entangling the passengers in love, betrayal and revenge.
