Poucet, the youngest of a countless brood, lives with parents who, too impoverished to feed all their children, abandon them in a dense forest. Together the siblings struggle to survive, encountering magical creatures and strange trials as they search for a way home. The story adapts Charles Perrault’s French fairy tale “Le Petit Poucet.”
