Identical twins Mia and Mackie Castillo have been dancing since they were toddlers, dedicating their lives to the art form. Mia favors tap while Mackie excels in jazz, and they consistently support each other through rigorous rehearsals and competitions. When a popular singer hosts an online contest seeking a unique dance group for his new music video, the twins eagerly participate, each forming a team with the help of friends and family to garner online votes. Their determined neighbor and rival, Avery, a talented dancer, uses her influence to gain an advantage in the contest.
