After crushing the Goths, Roman general Titus Andronicus returns to Rome to bury his slain sons, bringing captured queen Tamora and her retinue. With the throne vacant, the late emperor’s heirs Saturninus and Bassianus compete for power. Titus sacrifices Tamora’s eldest son and, with the decisive vote, crowns Saturninus, unleashing a cycle of revenge and tragedy.
