Ray Ray is a longtime New York City bachelor who has held the same job for 22 years. To his boss Wilson, life looks orderly, but Ray Ray is often late paying rent to his landlord Gilly and tends to be a bit irresponsible. He dreams of moving to Miami someday, chasing a fresh start beyond his routine.

Everything shifts when Ray Ray’s sister Daniela and her husband Raul are killed, leaving six children at his doorstep. Daniela’s absence and Raul’s loss push Ray Ray to confront the fragile balance of becoming a caretaker for relatives he never expected to raise. The family begins to reorganize around this new reality, with the kids carrying their own grief and confusion.
