Froggy devises a scheme to get Mickey and Buckwheat sent home early so the trio can fish, but the plan falls apart and they skip school the next day. At the fishing hole the boys find abundant bite‑ready fish but face comic mishaps. Buckwheat invents a new technique, and an elderly fisherman shares a life lesson, urging them to rethink their ways.
