The Little Fellow falls for a young woman while working on a family farm, and aids the owners in repelling a band of criminals. Just as happiness seems assured, he learns she is already involved with someone else. Choosing not to disrupt their lives, he returns to the road, skipping and swinging his cane with the carefree joy of a wanderer.
