A horror film with a comedic edge, it follows Mike, a horror‑movie aficionado who constantly anticipates a monster around every corner. He heads to a remote lodge for a weekend with friends, and an uneasy feeling takes hold. As strange events unfold, Mike must rely on his encyclopedic knowledge of slasher tropes to outwit the real threat and keep his friends from a grisly fate.
