John Halaris is a charismatic antique dealer and compulsive bluffer. After pulling off a daring deception on three friends while on Hydra, he returns to Athens, where his carefree bachelor life is upended by the sudden arrival of a young girl claiming to be his daughter. Initially dismissing her as another ruse, he soon becomes convinced that Gianna is truly his child, a revelation brought about by Miranda, his first and only love.
