A whimsical tale about Irish leprechauns guarding a pot of gold, where legend says anyone who captures a wee man must be led to the treasure. On his 121st birthday, young Patrick is allowed a good deed: delivering shoes to the poor. The town miser catches him, forces him to reveal the gold hidden in a tree stump, and promises not to move it while the miser fetches a shovel. He returns to find dozens of identical stumps, foiling his plan, and Patrick is celebrated with a birthday cake bearing 121 candles.
