Toni compels Rose to disclose the hidden location of Bergern’s cash within his home. While Toni is in the act of stealing, the banker unexpectedly returns and Toni shoots him dead. Fleeing the scene, Rose and Toni escape to Austria’s Semmering, seeking to evade capture and begin a fresh life together.
