Robert Horton plays a former secret agent turned private investigator who is framed for murder. After being released on the condition that he find a covert book listing government operatives active in Red China, he embarks on a dangerous quest. Along the way he learns that allies are scarce, even his old chief cannot be trusted, leaving him to navigate a treacherous web of deception.
