A visit from Karen’s sister, Jule, and her family for Markus's birthday celebration stirs up long-buried wounds and past traumas. As repressed feelings surface, the weekend threatens to fracture their relationships and destabilize Karen's sense of reality. The film explores deep-seated domestic tensions with a darkly engrossing and surreal quality, offering a cathartic experience for both the characters and the director.
