The School for Good and Evil

Twin brothers Rhian and Rafal founded the School for Good and Evil with the objective of nurturing fairy tale heroes, known as 'Evers', and villains, referred to as 'Nevers'. The school was designed to teach aspiring characters their respective roles in fairy tales, ultimately shaping the future of good and evil.

Discontented with the prevailing dominance of good, Rafal enacts a blood magic attack against his brother Rhian. In a fateful confrontation, both brothers fall off a cliff, with Rafal seemingly meeting his end, altering the power dynamics of the fairy tale world.

Years later, in the village of Gavaldon, friends Sophie and Agatha learn about the legendary School for Good and Evil from a local bookshop owner. Sophie's desire to escape her mundane life propels her to dream of becoming a princess, while Agatha remains skeptical about the school's allure.

Sophie makes a desperate attempt to flee Gavaldon one night. However, when Agatha intervenes, both girls are whisked away by a gigantic stymph, landing them at the enchanting School for Good and Evil, marking the beginning of their extraordinary journey.

Upon arrival, Sophie and Agatha are separated, much to their dismay. Sophie is placed in the School for Evil, while Agatha ends up in the School for Good, a twist of fate that sets them on drastically different paths filled with challenges.

Determined to switch schools, Sophie learns from School Master Rhian that she can earn this privilege through true love's kiss. She identifies Prince Tedros, the son of King Arthur, as her true love and persuades Agatha to help her in this quest.

As both girls navigate their new environments, they face significant challenges as outcasts. Agatha criticizes the superficial nature of the Good school, while Sophie grapples with the competitive and ruthless culture of Evil, leading to growing tensions.

Rafal resurfaces in a swarm of wasps, intervening to protect Sophie during a confrontation with other students. His presence elevates Sophie's status among Evil's ranks, leading her further down a dark path influenced by his ominous agenda.

Under Rafal’s malevolent guidance, Sophie undergoes a dramatic transformation, altering her appearance and personality to gain acceptance and power within the School for Evil. This change alienates her from Agatha, creating a rift between the two friends.

In an effort to resolve tensions between the schools, Rhian proposes a 'Trial by Tale'. During this event, Sophie’s struggle to defend her relationship with Tedros culminates in Agatha intervening to save him, leading to Tedros rejecting Sophie for her selfishness.

Manipulated by Rafal, Sophie succumbs to using blood magic, incapacitating the school's faculty during a grand ball. Transformed into a hag, she poses a threat to Agatha and ignites a battle between the Evers and Nevers, defying the established rules of their schools.

Sophie discovers that Rhian is actually Rafal, who has orchestrated events to weaken Good from within. His revelation and declaration of love ignite a perilous alliance, urging Sophie deeper into his machinations, which threaten to destabilize both schools.

In a defining moment, Sophie sacrifices herself to protect Agatha from Rafal’s attack. Her heroic choice unravels the dark magic surrounding them and alters Agatha’s fate, showcasing the depth of their friendship against the odds.

With the support of Tedros, Agatha confronts a dying Sophie and wields Excalibur to vanquish Rafal. This victory not only brings peace but also seals Sophie’s fate and showcases the power of true friendship and love.

Following their triumph, the Evers and Nevers unite, merging their schools into one. As they prepare to return to Gavaldon, a mysterious force intervenes, leaving Agatha and Tedros with an unexpected call, hinting at more adventures to come.
