A group of travelers, among them a monk, seek shelter at a remote mountain inn. The innkeeper eventually admits to the monk that he routinely serves guests poisoned soup, loots their belongings and disposes of the bodies by burying them in the backyard. The isolated setting masks his grisly routine, turning a simple refuge into a deadly trap.
