The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

In 1899, a group of men disguised as German soldiers executes a bold assault on the Bank of England. Their goal is to seize precious blueprints created by the renowned Leonardo Da Vinci, which are critical for the city's foundation.

Following the bank heist, another group, led by the elusive Fantom, adopts British officer uniforms. They orchestrate a daring operation to abduct German scientists while simultaneously obliterating a factory, further escalating tensions between the UK and Germany.

Sanderson Reed, a representative of the British Empire, travels to Kenya to recruit the famous hunter and adventurer, Allan Quatermain. Quatermain, grief-stricken from the loss of his son and reluctant to return to action, finds his life endangered by assassins.

In London, Quatermain meets M, Reed's superior, who reveals the Fantom's malevolent plan to destroy Venice. This plot aims to sabotage a global leaders' meeting, ultimately igniting a world war to profit from arms sales.

To combat the new threat, M assembles the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. This coalition consists of Quatermain, Captain Nemo, chemist Mina Harker, and the invisible thief Rodney Skinner, uniting their unique skills against the Fantom.

The team sets out to recruit Dorian Gray, an immortal man whose hidden portrait ages in his stead. Despite his previous romantic interest in Mina, Dorian initially refuses to join the League's cause until he is targeted by the Fantom's assassins.

As the group's dynamics evolve, it is revealed that Mina has been turned into a vampire after her encounter with Count Dracula. This transformation adds complexity to her character and her interactions with both Dorian and the League.

The League travels to Paris to recruit their final member, Mr. Hyde. Quatermain cleverly convinces Hyde to join them, promising him leniency for his past crimes, thus strengthening the League's ranks.

Aboard Captain Nemo's submarine, the Nautilus, the team embarks on their journey towards Venice. During the voyage, tensions rise as strange events suggest a traitor among them, particularly when Skinner mysteriously disappears.

Upon arriving in Venice, the League finds themselves amidst chaos as bombs detonated beneath the city threaten its foundations. To prevent disaster, they must work swiftly to counteract these explosive threats.

As the team races against time, Quatermain confronts the Fantom and discovers he is actually M. With the city's devastation imminent, Sawyer launches a missile, saving Venice from destruction at the last moment.

After the chaos, it becomes apparent that both Dorian and M are traitors. Dorian's violent actions lead to conflict within the team, and revelations of M's ambitions to collect their powers for profit come to light.

In northern Mongolia, the League confronts the revealed Professor James Moriarty while trying to liberate kidnapped scientists. As tensions peak, Quatermain suffers a grave injury, passing his legacy to Sawyer.

Quatermain is laid to rest in Kenya beside his son, his legacy commemorated by the remaining League members. A witch doctor’s blessing ensures his memory endures, even as a lightning bolt strikes his grave, hinting at an uncertain fate.
